Empowering Lives One child at a time
The Foundation
Save Sierra Leone Foundation (SSLF) is a support portal helping organisations and individuals collaborate, promote, fund and implement programs for children in the areas of (1) education; (2) healthcare; and (3) poverty alleviation in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Supporting Organisations
SSLF supports organisations, with both appealing projects and strong management teams already engaged in children's empowerment projects in Sierra Leone. In considering potential candidates to support, the Foundation evaluates such factors as: the fit of the potential project within the Foundation’s existing scope and area of operations, the project management experience of the organisation, and the terms of collaboration with the Foundation.
Supporting Individuals
SSLF also provides financial support for individuals pursuing programs or career activities that advocate for better conditions for children in Sierra Leone (including individuals engaged in the performing arts, sports, and music)

Volunteer support
SSLF volunteers are supporting the foundation's effort both in the USA and in Sierra Leone. From collecting and packing items for distribution to disadvantaged kids, to conducting sexual harassment training in universities or yoga health and fitness training to primary school students, our volunteers are at the core of all SSLF programs.
